General Election - are you registered to vote?
A UK parliamentary election will be hold on Thursday 4th July 2024.
You need to be registered to vote.
You need to register to vote by 18th June.
You need to apply for new postal votes by 5pm 19th June.
You need to apply for new in-person proxy votes by 5pm on 26th June.
IMPORTANT
You will need photo ID to vote in this election. More information on the requirement is available at the Fife Council website. If you don’t have acceptable ID you can apply for a FREE voter authority certificate, but you must do this by 5pm on Wednesday 26th June 2024. To do this, visit the UK Government’s web page to apply .
You can check that you are on the electoral register already by visiting a Fife public library (Auchtermuchty Library has a copy) or Fife Council offices. You will need some form of ID.
