Community Council Elections

The nomination period for the community council elections in Fife is now open. Nomination papers along with the notes for the guidance of candidates and details of the vacancies in each area can be downloaded from Fife Council’s website at Community Council nomination papers

A copy of the nomination paper is available at this link for anyone who expresses an interest in standing.

The nomination period runs until 4pm on Thursday 31 August. Completed nomination papers can be completed and returned electronically to election.enquiries@fife.gov.uk or alternatively paper copies can be forwarded to the Returning Officer, Fife Council, Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes, KY7 5LT.  

Anyone wishing to stand as a candidate must be 16 years old or over and be registered to vote in the community council area they wish to represent.

If any potential candidate is having difficulty accessing their elector number, please email voters.roll@fife.gov.uk or alternatively call 03451 55 55 11 where a member of the Electoral Services team will be happy to assist.
