Bus survey
Fife Council is undertaking a study of the bus network in Fife (focusing on the Council’s supported services).
The transport consultants WSP have been appointed to undertake this work which will involve the analysis of the supported bus network and will assess its performance, connectivity, customer needs and value for money. In particular this work will look at options for the Council to run its own buses as opposed to contracting services in order assess if better value can be achieved and/or allow greater control/flexibility and improved connectivity.
As part of stakeholder engagement a survey is being launched to allow bus (and non-bus users) to comment on the bus network in Fife. It will run for 4 weeks and be available to complete online or by post/paper format.
.Paper copies of the survey are available from St Andrews, Leven, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline bus stations or they can be requested by calling 01592 583223 or emailing Travel.Fife@fife.gov.uk .
The online survey is now live and can be accessed by clicking this link.
Given the changes to services in Gateside, everybody with an interest is encouraged to respond to this survey.
