Binn Wind Farm Community Grants

The Community Council has been given a small amount of money (£800) to disburse as grants from the Binn Wind Farm Community Grants to small local groups across the community council area giving community benefit. Although the amount is only small this time it is hoped that in future larger sums will be made available.

Any small group may put in an application, but preference will likely be given to small groups who would find it difficult to get funding from other sources.

The application form is online on the community council website. Applications must be made by no later than 20th January 2025. They may be submitted online. Alternatively, hard copy may be given to either of Gateside’s community councillors: Andrew Macnaughton or Susan Jack.

A sub-committee of the community council will make recommendations on which grants should be approved to the January 2025 meeting of the full community council.
