It’s the run up to Christmas: Theft of Ifor Williams Trailer

Fraser Laird reports:

"Sometime between the 9th and 17th December 2017 an Ifor Williams trailer was stolen from a street in St. Andrews. The trailer was attached to a van at the time and due to the location of both it would have taken some time and effort to remove.

The trailer is described as a TT2515 model, galvanised with an 8’ x 6’ flatbed, twin axle with sides and is described as being in very good condition.

If you have any information with regards to the above theft please contact the Police by telephoning 101.

Please be aware that trailers are very attractive to would be thieves and should be secured at all times especially when left unused for long periods of time. Consider removing wheels and storing them elsewhere, this makes the trailer more difficult to move therefore less attractive.

Property marking is a useful tool and could deter a theft, we still have some Selecta DNA kits available for £20, if you would like one please contact me on the telephone number below.

Also consider purchasing a tracker, there are several kits on the market, if you would like some information please contact me and I will send you some information.

Regards, Fraser.”
