Vane Farm Nature Reserve

The reserve is part of Loch Leven National Nature Reserve and has trails both to viewing hides overlooking the wetlands and loch and also to the sumit of Vane Hill. The visitor centre has lots of information for visitors, an observation room, a cafe and an RSPB shop.

Millenium Cycle Ways

Explore the Kingdom by bike.  There is an extensive cycle network in Fife of some 300 miles.  The cycle routes are on forest tracks, disused railway lines and quiet country lanes as well as commuter routes in town.

Lomond Hills Regional Park

Literally on our doorstep and Scotland's first regional park!  The Lomond Hills are Fife's most prominent landmarks.  The park has sites ranging from Craigmead Meadows (a SSI) to Coul Den reservoir.

Fife Coastal Path

The Coastal Path, completed in 2002, runs from Culross to the Tay Bridge.  It can be walked in shorter sections, or tackled as a long distance route.  The path suits all levels and passed through some wonderful scenery.
